Korra surprisingly didn't fuck up badly in Season 3. I actually liked her as a character.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and I'm going to say that this is about Korra's spiritual recovery and she is suffering a for of PTSD as well. Maybe she is now absolutely terrified of the avatar state and is now starting to realise its omnipotence. I guess also Kuvira is going to be "fascist" villain for Book 4 though they are going to give her a bit of a twist of actually being what is best for the Earth kingdom.

My guess is that Kuvira will either be another Well-Intentioned Extremist, or another Unalaq (someone who claims to be doing it for good reasons, but is actually doing it for more maniacal and selfish reasons).

Regardless, viewers could still see it as an endorsement of fascism, and my-oh-my would the creators get a lot of criticism for it. Like I said, I don't think Bryke is THAT brave.
