Pokerus+Special bracers that you get for trading Battle Points cause your pokemon to gain 10 EVs per battle instead of one. Makes it much easier.

I don't think Pokemon would take too kindly to seeing an orthodontist.

I like how in the fifth generation they introduced so many unique type combinations. I really like all of those ghost ones. And Galvantula is a badass.

Yeah, that was nice. Although, ironically enough, when playing through Black, my entire team contained only single-type Pokémon. :p

Try running shadowball/hidden power fighting/calm mind/rest w/ a chesto berry or ""/""/""/[haze or trick room] w/ leftovers. Physically bulky build. you can sub will'o'wisp for haze if you want, but I feel like wisp is better suited for other pokes and will waste valuable set up time. A pure physical bulk Coffin Fag can survive most crunches, while hitting back hard with hidden power (or KOing if you have some cm's up). Get rid of STAB dark and he can sweep teams despite his speed.

He is also one of my favorites :3 He pairs well with Reuniclus and Conkles.

I don't actually use Power Split as I don't do multiplayer, but it does certainly have its uses. You just have to use strategy instead of just trying to club everything to death.
And Hex is a great move what with it being the most powerful Ghost move available to non-Giratina Pokémon.

>strategy
>doesn't play multiplayer

Trying to apply "strategy" to single player is like building a death ray to kill a retarded child. And power split is terrible for two reasons: 1. everyone who can learn it is slow as balls, meaning you get hit before it goes off (with the exception of latios, whose sp attack you want to keep high. Although IIRC everyone who can learn power split has decent attack or sp attack to begin with, so using it risks giving up momentum) 2. the effect ends on switchout

Hex is also hugely situational (meaning terrible strategically). If you don't believe me, try using a will'o'wisp/thunderwave/toxic and hex combo in multiplayer. The majority of the time it just acts as a gimped shadowball. And in the vast majority of cases you would rather have hidden power fighting to dent counters as they switch in.

Hex is good on jellicent (w/scald and/or toxic) as a staller though, as the attack dmg doesn't really matter in that scenario.

At least I hope so. Because in multiplayer, Ice is one of the main three offensive types. :/

And every water type ingame barring the five mentioned learns Ice Beam. Sure, you have to use the TM, but TMs are made to be used, and if you don't plan on playing competitive then what better use than to ensure you become the new Champion?

Which other trainers don't use excluding Gym Leaders and the Elite Four. Though, Gym Leaders only use TMs of their type, so you're still not going to find Ice-type TMs on Water Pokémon.
