Have fun~

Technically he should have bought a 3DS yesterday, because that was the release date.

Oh well, he still has to do it.

I always liked Digimin more as a kid but the games were life during elementary school. First game was Gold and I played the shit out of that with my cindaquill because fire type starters are best starters. But over the years I've played Pokemon games when they came out except the gold and silver remakes and I'm definetly going to steal my little brothers DS so I can play those gen3 remakes.

You can't play Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire on the DS.

Mauville was a pretty strange sight for me as well. Not that I disagree with the design choice (I more lament the loss of the Game Corner); it's just that it is so completely different than past games.

Almost done with the game, pretty happy about the entire experience, and as I've said before, the water has never bothered me. The latter-stage focus on more story and character exposition really made me happy, because it's always nice to be reminded these are people with motivations other than fighting and destruction of the world's natural balance. Time to go get the Master ribbon from the contests. Or get all the Mega Stones. I do like Contests though.

Thanks. Pity it 's such a hurdle though, it's going to be a pain in the ass to grind it level with the rest of the team.

My memory must be failing me. Was the gap between the Lavaridge and Petalburg gyms so short in the originals?

Well you didn't teleport there with May in the originals, but it's not that hard to cross that distance in the originals, either.

Okay. I gotta say, that was a very strange thing to happen. I was half expecting some guy to be standing in front of the gym, forcing me to go on a side quest. Beating 2 gym leaders in 10 minutes just feels so weird, especially given the huge gaps between Wattson and Flannery, and later Norman and Winnoa.

From what I've read Sea Mauville is the old abandoned ship and new Mauville appears after the Elite 4 or something like that.
