Anyway, I don't watch the anime. Even if I did, I wouldn't like their portrayal of Mega Evolutions.

They're not badass if their origin isn't.
And The Strongest Mega Evolution does just that. Remember whn Sycamore and that kid were talking about their origins and stuff?

Be that as it may, this still seems like one of those shiny gimmicks they add to distract people from the fact that save for a few mechanic changes and larger selection of pokemon, items and moves it's still essentially the same game as it was in 1996. One that has been released 25 times now by the way, and that's without spin-offs.

I don't. I actually was not planning to get the next gen at all because I didn't even finish black 2 or Y anymore, but when the next one turned out to be Hoenn...
