I had that VHS with like the first four episodes on it somewhere. I can proudly and unhesitatingly report that Misty was the pioneer of some of my earliest stiffies.

I think it's kind of sad she's in love with Ash. It's like if you were in love with a mentally handicapped person or something: everyone would look at you like you're some kind of sicko, and I hear it's a crapshoot if the person feels the same way about you, or is even capable of it.

Ash? Famous? That would only happen if he won a Pokémon league or something, and we know that's never going to happen.

I don't want to state the obvious but... You know all of Pokemon is on Youtube right?

But if you try sometimes,

you get what you need.
And what I needed was Mewtwo X as a respectable mega-counterpart to the fetal abomination that is Y.
Remember when those images of it came out before any of us knew what mega-evolution was gonna be? How worried everyone was that Pokemon had finally and utterly been destroyed?

And what if you'd taped it back then? It wouldn't be making money from you rewatching the tapes would it?
I bought the tapes... Most of them.![]()
Yeah, fine. Honestly, I don't like YouTube because one second the video will be up and the next it'll be deleted. Or hell, when I'm watching it, the Flash will just crap out.

I've been watching the Johto episodes recently, I've been pleasantly surprised, because usually when you revisit something from your childhood it's terribly disappointing, but I've enjoyed this. The Rich Port wrote:Multifarity wrote:A 20 year old cartoon for children not making money any more... Subjective. Though I nominally agree; Aqua/Magma was the most dynamic criminal team until Flare came along.New haven america wrote:2. The character's don't annoy me.

The whole point of repeatedly checking the Pokedex is the presumption that a younger generation of viewers might not be familiar with established monsters. Because the plot's alinear and for like, y'know. Childrans.New haven america wrote:4. The battles were pretty nice/cool.
