Which gen was the worst one in Pokemon? my vote is gen five. I just couldn't accept it as a Pokemon game but I still completed it because I stick with something once I start it. I still don't know why I hated it I just do

I agree. I actually love Gen 5, to the point where it's either that or Gen 4 as my favorite generation of Pokemon.

I prefer Hoenn, Gen 3, as the best generation. I loved the different settings, the Pokemon and legendaries introduced were more interesting than a lot that has come afterwards, and it even introduced some fun new puzzles (Finding the Regis). Plus secret bases, which was such an awesome thing for a 7 year-old. I probably like Gen 4 the least.

I'm assuming you've never heard of the Grass Type? Or Electric Pokemon, half of them can take him out, heck anything he's neutral to that can learn a Grass or Electric move has a decent chance of taking him out.

And then there's the ones that make no sense. (Mamoswine can 2HKO with Knock Off and I've lost a Rotom-W to a Heatran before.)

Hoenn's my favorite too and probably my most played Pokemon game for the same reason and probably the reason why I'm so excited for Twitch Plays Pokemon Emerald. (or we don't talk about that stream just like a couple other communities)

I heard that it came out, but I haven't really thought of the game as anything more than Pokémon Tetris. While it looks like some fun, I don't know if it justifies a purchase, especially since I have other e-Shop downloadables to get.

Concerning Zeta/Omicron, I've seen shofu has some video's on them, but I haven't watched them. The story seems more interesting though. How is it?

I know I'm gonna get hate for this, but just in terms of gameplay, not actual pokemon designs, I thought Gen III was the worst. Just couldn't really get into the plot, and I hated the way the region was formatted.

I don't get why Bulbapedia merely describes Mewtwo as a bipedal, humanoid creature with some feline features. I think it's pretty obvious Mewtwo looks like a kangaroo.

So, I had to get a few pokemon into my W2 game today(When it gets here), but the only gen. it can be caught in is gen. 3. So, I go get my copy of Sapphire(Just got here a few weeks ago), and the Nostalgia was fucking great(My first pokemon game was Ruby).

No, I actually agree with you, the plot missed a certain element, and where the gyms were in the region with the order they were in really wasn't well thought out. Especially because (if I remember correctly) you had to work your way back to Norman before your Pokemon could learn Fly.

I agree. Let's just say there's a reason Gen III won't get a remake.

I actually quite enjoyed five. I got Blue the winter it came out in the States; there was a certain wonder about playing through the adventure without the meta and without *knowing* three-quarters of the game's monsters, plot, and format before the game was released. The secrecy about Gen V's release did about as much as it could to recapture that element, and I appreciated it for that.

I *liked* Gen III. But that might have to do with the fact that it was my childhood generation.

Gen IV was the worst, I think? Overblown plot, and more or less a wholesale shift of Gen III to a dual screen format. I'm playing Gen VI right now on dual screens, and I like it a whole lot more.

meanwhile - Protean Greninja, y/y? It's ridiculous.

Agreed; out of curiosity though, I mention you describe them as being played on "dual screens." Is there a way to play DS/3DS games on a single screen?

Furthermore, I'd still just like to know why everyone in Kalos has a stiffy for my mom.

I grew up on Gold & Silver, so it's probably my favorite due to the fact they're the Pokemon games I grew up on. However I did like playing Gen III and I would call that a close second.

Not to mention it was a nice dose of nostalgia when the first 52 episodes of Pokemon Indigo League came out of Netflix. A 26 year old man probably shouldn't have probably watched all 52 episodes over a span of three days, but hey I'm on spring break from the school I teach at. So why not?
