I don't think Fairy's that much of an exception in terms of strange typing. Being strong against Dark and Fighting makes a kind of intuitive sense, as does being poor against Fire, and while the others (Dragon, Steel, Poison) are pretty much arbitrary, it's not much worse than usual. Some seem to be there only for balance, rather than logic (Psychic weak to Bug? Grass resistant to Electricity?) and others are just mental. According to Nintendo, the way to deal with rocks and bits of metal is to punch them.

Also, vaguely relevant.

I'm kinda digging the theme. I haven't played X/Y but I did play most of ORAS. My problem with that generation is that it is far too easy. I hope they don't make the mistake with sun/moon. But I probably won't play it either way.

That's bizarre, I literally don't have it. You see it under "settings" after clicking the pokeball?

Might just be me, but I don't see how those, bar perhaps Dark, are intuitive

Edit: Also not a fan of Z moves.

Sure, they look cool, but I don't see why the can't just be megas. Also, GameFreak is gonna have to explain these things in later games and regions, which seems like a nuisance for them.

Wouldn't make much sense to me to have the mega of Ninetales as an ice type. I've always liked the variations on the same pokemon based on certain factors.

Fairies being weak to steel is completely in line with fairy related folk lore.

Wasn't it Iron? Though Steel is the closest they'll get to that, if I'm right.

Yes it would, megas unlock certain powers in Pokemon, including type changes.

Maybe a Mega Ninetales would look different depending on it's form.

Even type changes as diametrically opposed as fire and ice? I mean, I'm not well read on megas, so it's possible I've just not heard about it.

It would make a lot more sense then some of the other megas. (Like Ampharos or Sceptile)

Some of those were actually slightly amusing.

Weird, my game says it's 0.31.0 and when checking from Google Play it just says Open instead of Update.
