I want a Tech Tree, more political depth, Attrition and Logistics, more traits and ancillaries, more focus on other factions, NAVAL WARFARE, and if possible make it to where a single unit can have multiple special abilities.
Like a barbarian warband being able to use shield wall AND Warcry or a Roman Legionary able to use multiple tactical formations.
Hell while I'm at it, let the Romans use their pila to repel cavalry like they actually did.

MTW is the strangest game. I have a civil war. Then I get invaded. The new owners aren't very nice so the loyalists rebel. The rebels in the Civil War rejoin me...

On the other hand, I've heard MTW has a more difficult AI than some of its successors.

Sooo it's got an event chain, one of things that make Crusader Kings 2 so good.

I fail to see how this is a bad thing.

If your nation already has an established economic base (more then 5 factories) then its better just to let the Cappies run things.

I had to go for a controlled economy every time in my Russia campaign. My wonderfully intelligent corps of elites kept building factories in the wrong places. And the wrong sort of factories.
"Oh, lets not build, say, a furniture factory in Finland, where there's a lumber mill churning out a bajillion tons of quality timber every cycle. No, we're going to build another ammunition factory. In Poland. Which is at least five provinces distant from every source of saltpeter. BRILLIANT. Also there are six other ammunition factories which are all failing because of the massive glut on the market."

The way you described it sounds like there'll be more ''pop up'' events ala the Marian reforms and such, and they're trying to sell that to plebs as a story line.

I'm okay with that as I liked things happening beyond war-peace-war-peace-war-peace-babbyisformed.

You want a story that's TWO war-and-peaces AND a kamasutra? That's like 4000 pages or something!
Though it would be cool if every unit in your army had a seperate backstory you could access. It's much more satisfying horrible to send peasants to their deaths if you know that young Julius the Goatkeeper with clubfoot who fell into hard times and was forced to tag along with the army is the one being gutted by angry berserkers to buy your army time to move in for the kill

I have been playing M2TW for a while (about 600 hours spread between it and Kingdoms according to steam). I got Rome and the earlier games with a expansions as CDs, but then my computer stopped working and I haven't reloaded it yet. I did just get Empire and Napoleon (have played Napoleon yet), I have 131 hours logged for Empires and just downloaded Darth mod.
