I just got Rome: Total War. Though its alright, it doesn't live up to the hype. Still, the battles are interesting, if a bit repetative, and being able to choose my faction heir is fun. I also really like the cavalry. I wish the game included more naval combat.

Sadly, I'm currently receiving an ass-kicking courtesy of the Gauls.

Does any one know why when after I fight a custom battle and then after when i watch the replay that there are things that I did not do or things that didn't happen while I was fighting? Such as I remember playing a siege against the hard AI during the actual battle I destroyed all of his rams before they got to my gates but in the replay one of them managed to break open one of my gates.

I haven't played the others ( I did play Shogun 2 but I didn't like it)

I think it's a sync error, but i can't for the life of me remember why it happens for total war game saves.

I've had the same thing happen in real time in sins of the solar empire, i'd be playing one game my partner would be playing an alternate universe version. Although that was in multiplayer and they've had some issues with sync errors.

No, there is probably a mod to allow you to though. The Graal Knights just pwned everything.

I would if my net wasn''t so slow as i could then watch through them all quick and make sure i gave you the right link but my net speed is capped at like 20 kps. If you want I can give you the link for my youtube page and tell you what I remember of the particulars so you can find it yourself?
