The sad thing is, I had no friends, they betrayed me and ganged up with my enemies. So they all got crushed under the glorious might of Prussia. Including Russia.

And that kids is how i conquered the world. The only real challenge was.....no one, cause they all sucked. Then again, there was Poland-Lithuania, but that's because i had to deal with them in the beginning of the game.

And that kids is how i conquered the world. The only real challenge was.....no one, cause they all sucked. Then again, there was Poland-Lithuania, but that's because i had to deal with them in the beginning of the game.

In my game i conquered all of europe bar the Ottomans and the Barbary states who i was allied with. Started to invade N.America then got bored, fighting yanks and Mexicans aint as fun.

No shit there i was with 6 groups of Jager Meister and a commander against an army of 500 or such. All my Jagers were hiding in the tall grass in a line. And the second they send up their line infantry, boom! 120 men gone, within a blink of an eye.

It was hilarious.

The AI doesnt care about your prestige to them your 'top of the line' steamship is just another fancy target. It's like the carronade frigates, its for people with more money than sense

And does anyone use the Razzee? It's an alright ship, but its requirements are wwaayy too large for such an average ship. I mean needing a steam drydock?! Come on CA!

dafaq is Razzee?

It's a glorified 6th rate. Basically you saw a couple of floors off a big ship-of-the-line so it's fast but with heavier cannons (the big cannons are on the lower levels of the ship). It's good for hunting fluyts, galleons and indiamans but you need a steam dry dock to get them -_-

Quality means you can hold off forces larger then your own.
You can eventually make a large amount of high quality troops, but if you choose a nation which is about quantity then your troops will always suck, no matter how many there are.

I do it with Cavalry and it works about 90% of the time, and remember in a siege, the attackers may have better soldiers, but they can be beat by a defending force with inferior troops that outnumber them.

Common sense that was not common back in that time period.

edit: I use the tactics against other players too, granted, my ability to win is decreased by a few, only because some people are better than me.
