France was at one point at 62 million. Hindustan in India is at 41 million. New York and Philadelphia are both at like, 100,000-200,000 while Florida is about 1.1 million...

The Knights of St John were a fucking nightmare for me to take. They always had a fleet sitting in their port, so I could land troops through there, and the islands is so small, it's a massive pain in the arse trying to land anywhere else.

I think by the time I took it I had lods emone to the point where I had 2 or 3 full stack armadas chilling in Yurop. I ended up just sinking boats whenever I came across them because how dare they sail in my ocean, and nobody could do anything.

Baring in mind at this point I was no longer Great Britain so much as the Glorious British Republic so pretty much every faction in the game hated me - no friends no allies.

Which is why I gave it to the Barbary States, my republican bros, I was lonely.

Also, how did you get a revolution? I've never been remotely close to a revolution as the UK. Couple of uprisings in conquered territories naturally, especially in the German state, who I think were hoping I would act as liberators from Polish-Lithuanian oppression.

I've seen a couple of modern flags turn up, usually as I'm about defeat a nation.

I was at war with Russia, had taken St Petersburg and the Crimea and its other Baltic holdings and pretty much destroyed the bulk of the Russian standing army, forcing them to start hit and run tactics on resource centres, when they had a revolution and the modern Russian flag turned up.

Also, I had knocked Poland-Lithuania down to Poland and Königsberg when they had a rebellion and the Polish flag turned up.

Well obviously you're not going to become a double absolute monarchy - you don't even have a rich, you only have the middle class, and IIRC, there's less buildings that detract from bourgeois support, so that's why you went republic.
