actually, i beleive their genre is either "Gay" or "Prue dick" but im not quite sure.
I am a 16 year old male who prides himself in my talent of playing electric and acoustic guitar. I am the lead guitarist band Sons of the Forgotten and am a far right republican conservative and am very pro-war, pro-life, and am pretty religious.
As for other random things about me, I love to party, will occasionally drink, and absolutly hate drugs.

They claim to be country rock. They sound more country then rock, and annoy the shit out of me. They are the reason I don't listen to the radio because regardless of what station they are playing every other song.

I like them. I usually hate whatever I hear on the radio automatically, but Nickelback can be clever and yes, does have a unique sound. They've been branching out as of late too.

Although I will say Chad Kroeger is something of an asshole. (Yes, I've met him.)

The epitome of bland, but yes a rock band nonetheless.

I actually don't mind a few of their older songs, but for the most part I dislike Nickelback.

It's pretty impossible for a band to be less alternative than Nickelback. "Alternative" generally refers to a type of rock, also.

Canadian Albertan reporting in. I went to one of their concerts because a girlfriend urged me to (I dont see her anymore). The crowd was huge. They do have a following here. Im indifferent to them.

I think the highlight of their career was getting stoned at IIRC Ozzfest.
