Quick question, what difficulty level do you guys play on? I'm on master 99% of the time. I go down one difficulty level If I'm having a ton of trouble, but have only ever resorted to that a couple of times. (Probably only three or four times)

Adept. But I normally run around in Level 1 armour (mage robes, hooded monk robes, etc.) and get caught in close-quarters while using ranged combat methods.

Fighting is a good bet, a good swords, a shield and high level armor can let you bulldoze through most quests.

I try to balance the two. I normally use a steel mace with firebolt, or healing of something, if I'm not dual casting.

PArt of that is a glitch where you can't remove their original armor so every time you dismiss them and then have htem follwo you again they gain an extra set of invisible armor that you can't remove in their inventory. There are mods that fix that or you can go l33t haxxor and use console commands to clear their inventory (PC only)

you drop something and make them pick it up it bypass the limit

but be warned if you got say 8 of something drop them one at a time as you lost them if you make them pick all 8 together at once

Did you see those guards from Hammerfeld? They've got curved swords. Curved. Swords.

I burned them all, and then reanimated their leaders corpse as a soldier.

... I'm a tad protective of Markarth.. Madanach wished he'd never set me free. And handed me my gear. I pretty much single handedly carved a bloody swath through every Forsworn encampment I could find.

Usually halfway through burning and stabbing my way through their encampment I would pull out the ritual and raise the dead.

I love my main character... He's just so delightfully broken against anything that isn't dragons or Draugr.

Odly enough I've actually been killed by an arrow to the knee. Quite frankly I quit playing for the rest of the day out of spite.

Something really fun to do is kill all a boss's body guards then use the necromancy standing stone to call them all from the dead and watch them murder him.

Could be worse. I shot an arrow upwards at a dragon and later died.

It wasn't to the dragon, and no, it wasn't my arrow. I slipped on a cabbage on the ground and fell off the god damn cliff >:(
