Anybody else having regret from getting Skyrim on the Xbox and not the PC?

Even though I have it on the Xbox, I'll also buy it for the PC eventually. Not the first time I've done that- I have bought 4 copies of Obivion: GotY Edition for the PC, 2 regular for the Xbox (sold one back the first time) and a GotY Edition for the Xbox. Was that a misuse of money? Probably. Do I care? Not at all.

This. I'm likely going to sell my old PS2 and the games and buy Skyrim for the computer. So I can download a mod and be NAZGUL!

Yeah though, this one guy made a mod that added Nazgul as a race. You even get special robes that hide your face.

I hate walking from through Eastmarch, seems to be whereever I go there are bandits, frost trolls (always two of them) and dragons. I try to avoid it when I can.

I have finally made it to Riften and tried joing the theivs guild, I understand in order to do that you have to help out Bolfric (sp?) and steal the ring and place it on someone else. I seem to always get caught (which results in me killing going on a killing spree) or the one time I managed to steal it and then place it on the guy he wanted framed but nothing happened.

What am I doing wrong? Am I meant to get caught?

Are you taking the one from the case, or from the safe?
The one you need is under the stand, and has a specific name.

That's not the one you're supposed to get. You have to go to the back of the argonian's stand, break into it, then crack open its safe take the named ring. And plant that on the elf.

I LOVE this game, i play it all the time... had to turn up the difficulty because i got bored of just plowing through everything and/or 1shotting sneak-crittting with archery.

Well I completely finished building my house yesterday from the Hearthfire DLC. I also completed the Dawnguard DLC relatively quickly and I most likely won't be playing Skyrim until new DLC is released. Hopefully a new DLC with 60+ hours worth of DLC will be released.

It varies from Hold to Hold really.

But all of those forests I remember from game have too low tree density.

I actually was quite pleased that most of the Skyrim armors didn't follow the fantasy game cliches of the higher the level of female armor, the skimpier it is.

Elder Scrolls games have been pretty realistic with female armor, and I'm glad for that, but after I beat the main story, I just like to have fun with it, immersion be damned.

Elder Scrolls games have been pretty realistic with female armor, and I'm glad for that, but after I beat the main story, I just like to have fun with it, immersion be damned.

What I do is not talk to the Greybeards at High Hrothgar until I've finished pretty much every other main questline and just blow through it in Dragonborn story in like 3 hours.

Most of the time. But they make up for it with Foresworn Armor, Aela's Armor, and inDawngaurd the Power Girl style cutouts in Vampire Armor. One or two other armors are also a bit skimpier then the male models but they aren't outrageously so.

No, but a return of them to Tamriel, and they attempt to claim their own Empire. Like you get an option where you can help or defend a hold under their attack. Or maybe the Thalmor attempt to destroy them, only to be wiped out by their mechanized army.

Sounds boring, really. It's basically the Civil War, but with Dwemer vs the Empire and Thalmor. The end would just be Dwemer soldiers and Jarls, but same laws and buildings.

I already know about that and that's not the return of the Dwemer. By return of the Dwemer I mean return of the fucking Dwemer. They return from wherever the damned hell they were and return to full strength, form an army and attempt to march across Skyrim. And it'd be better than the Civil War questline. Why? Because imagine an army of Dwemer, backed by numerous Centurions. That or they add a new area on the map. The Forgotten Vale is fucking huge and I'm still discovering new locations in it. Still have yet to find one of those mineable bugs though.
