I really can't ever say what my top 5 favorite bands are. They change a lot, depending what I feel like listening to at that certain time. Sigur Ros is pretty much always my first though.

Top FIVE? :( Oh man, I have a hard enough time making a top 20..

1. Polaris
2. 808 State
3. Type O Negative
4. Spray
5. DJ Liquid (No, not electroacidfunk volumes. The three albums that were lost to time and took me nearly a decade to piece together.)

That really hurt me to choose. :unsure: I'll probably change it the next time you ask.

See? I just changed it. Also, links!

Shadow Country already has mine. It is my other nation...it's not doing well at the moment. Which is partly why I made another nation. Top 5 bands though, that's like asking me to pick my top 5 cars...I would never be able to tell you.

I like dubstep, drum n bass, moombahton, house, trance etc.

But I'd have to say that my favorite bands are usually not of my favorite genres.

If you like those, you may like Noisia, Excision, Skrillex {at least some}, Amon Tobin, The Glitch Mob, the movie Hanna soundtrack, Mirror's Edge soundtrack, and so on. I'd post links but I don't have easy access to music at the moment.

I've had some changes, so a new list is in order;

1. Journey, I grew up listening to my Dad put this on all the time. Its always been my favorite band.
2. Bad English, only because some guys from Journey came in and produced some awesome songs.
3. Train, I've always loved Train. Pat Monahan used to live in my town - before he ran out on his wife and kids.
4. Phoenix, for some pop. I love Rome.
5. Eli Young Band, for a little country.
