wow none of my favorite types of music are on the list :ugeek:

I like dubstep, drum n bass, moombahton, house, trance etc.

But I'd have to say that my favorite bands are usually not of my favorite genres.

1. Pink Floyd
2. Bob Marley
3. Logistics/Hectix/Netsky (basically liquid drum n bass, i can't decide which one i like best)
4. Dubba Jonny
5. Deadmau5
Bernie Sanders for the NBA All Star Game '16

I still like them but I prefer underground electronic (and mainstream just in the case of deadmau5) better than rock now. And I love how they're your favorite band now :3

Iron Maiden
Rolling Stones

More obscure favorites include.
Buckethead
Bush
Masterplan
Phoenix
Fight (Judas priest side project. Excellent stuff.)
Wallflowers

In order from most that which sprung to mind and with a sample song.

1. Annihilator - Striker
2. The Real McKenzie's - The Maple Trees Remember
3. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
4. Suicide - Frankie Teardrop
5. Sodom - Agent Orange

Edit: Frankie Teardrop might not be the best song to listen to while depressed.

Album currently blowing me away: Edge of Sanity - "Purgatory Afterglow"

Unity; a gathering of open wounds,
of dark... of dark clean spirits...
what a dream... what a dream so distant!
Why should I... why should I be alone
when I love... when I love my brotherhood?
Shall I die... shall I die to be free
when I cry... when I cry in silence...
so please let me die in silence...
oh my god, let me die in silence!

we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

People who denounce the free market and voluntary exchange, and are for control and coercion, believe they have more intelligence and superior wisdom to the masses. What's more, they believe they've been ordained to forcibly impose that wisdom on the rest of us. Of course, they have what they consider good reasons for doing so, but every tyrant that has ever existed has had what he believed were good reasons for restricting the liberty of others.
