Just finished the first season of Fairy Tail (changed my flag to reflect that). I think I'm going to give Gurren Lagann a try.

Just finished episode two of Dokuro-chan. A show about lolis who are angels from the future and always kill the main character. I'm going to love this.

It's great fun! Some people dislike the second season, but it has at least got a kickass ending theme...

Speaking of Dokuro-chan, anyone who liked it should probably look into the same director's show Dai Mahou Touge (aka Magical Princess Punie-chan). It is also dark humour, but of a very different flavour, with a much more deliberately evil (but still cute) main character.

Nope. I'll put that one down on my list of anime.

Finished Mushi-shi on Friday. Currently in the middle of Karin (Episode13) Since I watch two series at a time, alternating disks. I am looking to start Spice and Wolf next week. I really enjoyed the S&W manga, so I hope the series will be as good.

Hmm. I’m going to Little Akihabara next week. For 10 pesos I can get an unlicensed DVD which can have up to 26 episodes at authentic DVD quality.

Everyone in school in the otaku trend seems to like Rosario+Vampire, and even somebody as stiff as myself needs some fanservice. However I’m not sure if it’s fanservice will be so excessive it'll bore me. But it looks so sexy and tempting, even if the plot is badly predictable…the rest of Zero no Tsukaima is another viable option.

On the other hand, I could always look for Cat Soup. Which I heard was so surreal it’s occasionally disturbing (especially considering it’s about dying). Then again, I fancy surrealism. (Ahh, surrealism. I practically fell in love with it after watching it’s brief bursts in Azumanga Daioh…then again I love Azumanga Daioh so much because it raised my spirits while I was depressed, to the point I have the anime and the entire manga)

Touch choice, what do you guys prefer?

If you wanna enjoy Rosario, but don't want the excessive fanservice, you should check out the manga. I hear the anime really ratcheted up the fanservice aspect of the thing.

I'd heard about how they had a woman soldier there. Hearing that + Total War inspired me to try to write about a motley crew composed of both men and women in an ancient age.
