Also what is "Full Metal Panic" about ?
Next anime's for me to watch are "Murder Princess", "Corpse Princess", then maybe one of the anime's I've read about on this forum. Somethin about surreal and shit.

Full Metal Panic is a Comedy, military genre set around an independant global military whos task is to stop kidnappings of individuals known as whisperds (People with a high level of mathmatics and science).
A group of 3 troops is assigned with protecting a high school girl (who is a whisperd) from being kidnapped, and the main male character does this by being placed in her school, but due to his military nature, he is unable to adapt to the standard society of a Japanese high school .

more action than comedy. Full Metal Panic Fumuffo! is comedy.
FMP: The Second Raid is more drama than comedy.

if you liked Sore-Machi... try Kaichō wa Maid-sama! A little less frivolous but still a good one IMHO.

It was alright for six episodes. The episodes could of been longer.

the first Movie: A Good watch. The Patlabor units are pressed for time as they need to prevent the city's entire labor force from running wild. but to stop it, they have to go straight to the heart of the hive. an army of Rouge Labors vs three Patlabors. the army doesn't stand a chance.

The second movie: Didn't see it, so sorry.

The third movie. WXIII: More of a detective movie. it's centered around the plain clothes detectives that help the labor units. so the action is seen through their eyes and SV2 is only seen in the back ground. a little slow for my tastes, but if you like procedural dramas, then you might like it.

What is this "Patlabor" I keep reading about.

in the near future, large robotic machines called 'Labors' are used in the military, Construction and... like everything else, Crime. To combat the use of Labors in Illegal activites, Tokyo police set up two 'Special Vehicle Squads with Labors designed to help them subdue labors being used for crimes. Patlabors are Patrol Labors. and the series focuses on one of the two squads formed.

TV series. We had a channel at one point called 'Locomotion', which started showing a lot of anime. 'Patlabor' was one of them, and 'Bubblegum Crisis' (can't remember which one) and 'Those Who Hunt Elves' were in the list.

I thought it was a fine anime although I'm not much of a mech fan. Izumi Noa is my favorite character.

Not in the anime it doesn't. The light novels however, do have an ending...I think. But, I know how much you guys hate reading...
