I love all 3 of those shows and I have seen every episode of Robotech and Gatchaman. I stopped at Season 4 of Digimon because it got horrendous at that point.
Robotech and Gatchaman are older shows from the 80s that my dad used to watch and when he purchased the collections of both straight from Japan a few years ago, I sat and watched all of them with him. Those shows were amazing and I love them to this day.
I grew up with Digimon and that show was basically my childhood.
If anyone has heard of the first 2, that would be pretty awesome. It seems no one ever tends to know what they are and its kinda frustrating as I have no one to talk to about them when a topic about Anime arises. I understand Death Note, Code Geass, and a few others are popular today, but you cant forget the classics.

Is Code Geass any good?

It's not that similar. People just say it is because both protagonists are morally ambiguous chessmasters. Code Geass is much more of an adventure story, whereas Death Note is more a supernatural crime drama. At least, in my opinion. And there are actual villainous characters in Code Geass who the antihero comes up against, whereas Light is the villain protagonist and L & co. are the hero antagonists in Death Note.
There's still plenty of gray and grey morality, though. It's by no means simple, and the plot is similarly twisty-turny.

What part of Code Geass adventure? As well as the mecha, fantasy and politics, there's the drama, the relationships between Lelouch and his classmates and how his terrorist acts affects them, don't really see the adventure aspect.

Maybe adventure isn't the right word. More fantasy? Anyway, there's more fighting and giant robots in Code Geass.
