Gore isn't the problem.
Its normal humans versus Zombies. I don't know why but watching that freaks me out.

So... You're incapable of watching 99% of zombie-related media?

Finished anime series Mirai Nikki yesterday. Greatly disappointed by the ending (and the lack of most characters' personal development).

Along with Cowboy Bepop, the original Fullmetal Alchemist (after watching brotherhood and hearing it was better. It was good, but I preferred brotherhood) been watching Bleach. Started Haruhi Suzumiya. Started Durarara! after finishing Baccano. Also watched a few episodes of Darker than black. I watched Clannad. It was good, but I thought it was maybe a little over rated. Finished Mushi-shi. Still waiting on that new CG:Akito OVA. Mirai Nikki. Oookaay. Interesting in any case. I watched guilty crown, and plan on starting Bakemonogatari and its sequels.

Damn, need to get a life.

Wait, when did you watch Eva 3.0? Has it finally been subbed? Was it not on a shitty cam-rip?

It was a fan subbed average quality camrip. So no, no official sub as far as I'm aware.

Looked at the upcoming anime list and I saw lots of romantic comedies.

I guess the Japanese aren't different from Americans after all.

Unrealistic relationships? Check.

Idealized feminine and masculine figures? Check.

Melodramatic rich people problems? Check.

General cluelessness and absence of sex, betraying the authors' lack thereof? Double Check.

Yup. If it weren't animated, my mom would love it.

Probably not that original of an idea for A manga, but I have an idea for a manga about a boy in a martial arts academy. Most of the characters have Japanese name but it is set in America. Can I justify that?

My second idea is about a boy who pilots a mecha
Kedri is a nation of 18th century pirates who know water-bending. Throw in some steampunk, as well. Tech level is PT/FanT.
Kedrians abandon piracy and become a modernized country, founded by reformed criminals who forsook piracy and the citizens are descended from pirates, and still retain some of their heritage such as speech, accent, politics.
