Not yet, but there are 6 specials episodes(A few minutes long, and stuffed with more fanservice than usual) and a full length OVA.

It's a shame they did not render the mecha in 2D in Akito the Exiled. Usually OVAS are given better treatment with higher budget.

No it results in the animation clashing with 2D characters. The I know Sunrise can do it, the TV show used cel-shaded CGI, that is they made CGI look 2D.

I don't mind the old animation, but lately you don't see much anime like that.

Also, Girls und Panzer is pretty awesome, though I'm not sure what was the point of Episode 5.5.

Watched Steins;Gate. 9/10. Excellent, but it lost something near (although it did get it back by) the end. Also watched Fate/Zero and Evangelion Rebuild 3.0. Along with Cowboy Bepop, the original Fullmetal Alchemist (after watching brotherhood and hearing it was better. It was good, but I preferred brotherhood) been watching Bleach. Started Haruhi Suzumiya. Started Durarara! after finishing Baccano. Also watched a few episodes of Darker than black. I watched Clannad. It was good, but I thought it was maybe a little over rated. Finished Mushi-shi. Still waiting on that new CG:Akito OVA. Mirai Nikki. Oookaay. Interesting in any case. I watched guilty crown, and plan on starting Bakemonogatari and its sequels.

Damn, need to get a life.

It's been a friggin long time (roughly a third of a year or so) since I've consistently followed an anime and I was planning on watching a full series or at least beginning one over break. FISSION MAILED.
Puchim@s is the closest thing though; I watched like 30-something 2 min episodes, but I kinda lost track of the show. Maybe I should watch that right now.

I dropped the anime a few days ago. Turns out knowing every plot point, twist, and whatnot for every episode(Even ones you haven't seen) kinda takes the fun out of it.

I thought it might be that way with watching the Fairy Tail anime after reading some of the manga, but I'm still enjoying it. Plus, it's been some time since I last read the manga, so I forgot some things about it. Plus, they throw in episodes that from what I remember aren't based on the manga at all, which is a nice bonus.
