I never liked Freddie's vocals. I respect him and all, though, just maybe not as much as others do. If you can only compare him to fellow dad-rock singers, then I guess you can't imagine any other vocalists who can possibly be better.

You...you...
Are completely incorrect in every possible way. Freddie didn't have to strain to hit the high notes, his singing ability got BETTER over time if ANYTHING, and the ONLY way he could've gotten worse later on is by the fact that he contracted AIDS and then contracted Pneumonia, causing his pre-mature death. He had amazing technique! And to be completely honest, many of the highest background vocals in Queen songs were sung by Roger Taylor, who was a pretty darn good vocalist in his own right.

This.

And Roger Taylor was good too. He can do that more ''tough guy'' voice and very high pitched falsettos like in Bo Rhap. Heck, even Brian May's okay. Not sure about John Deacon though. He barely sings.

Pachelbel's Canon is a I-V-VI-III-IV-I-IV-V. It's related to the I-V-VI-IV but I doubt that progression based on Canon. Also, far from every song uses that progression.

I wouldn't call it the best song in the world at all, but the entire Dwarven sountrack from BFME2 was pretty awesome. As was the Terran one from both SCs.
