I usually don't chose favorites( I tend to be rather in decisive) but if I had to,

Voice of Dissent by Flesh Field

Hard to say, but Leadbelly's "Goodnight Irene" is a nominee

Any of the original versions by Leadbelly are awesome - here is one that is not the best (and the video sucks) but gives you the idea -- particularly of his voice: Goodnight Irene

"Down Under" by Men At Work

Handel's "Messiah".

Perhaps also Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F", the first song on the Voyager's golden record.

I love Queen, but I seriously don't like most of the songs from Hot Space.

Isra says Revolution 9 - The Beatles (sarcastically... he only likes to torture me with it). Queen is good but I don't think one of their songs is "the best song in the history of Earth".

Ahhh I can't chose one! I love music too much. It would be easier to answer if it said a specific type of music, for example if someone asked me what is the best sad love song I know the first thing that comes to mind is a song by The Cure.

There's always exceptions, and that is one.

Barrett had a touch for psychedelia and atmosphere that none of the other primary songwriters in that band had. Piper is up there with any other Pink Floyd album.

weird how nothing he ever made had atmosphere approaching DSotM, WYWH or Animals then isn't it.
