I own an XBOX 360. as do all my friends, but I also like playstation. For me, It would be XBOX because of Halo, and Gears of war.

In my opinion, they both suck. I liked my PS3 until it randomly decided to stop reading blu-rays two days after its warranty lapsed, and now my Xbox doesn't like recognizing controllers.

Are you calling Uncharted and Resistance bad?

PS3 is much better than the Xbox. Free online playing, Blu-ray support, and a much more mature community imo.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the PS3 can play BluRay and the 360 cannot, so I would say PS3 just for that, since they mostly host the same games.

Plus, PS3 users can now connect to the Steam network, giving them, after it develops, as significant of an online gaming community as 360 users.

PS3 because I don't want to waste my life searching for AA batteries and the it has wireless built in.

I've owned both but yeah, not really 13 so its more used for streaming films upstairs than the actual gaming aspect

I think they're about equal. Xbox is cheaper, but has paid internetz. PS3 is the opposite. PS3 has a glorified Eye Toy, Xbox has a glorified Wii. Xbox has stupid controllers, PS3 has no Halo.

Kinda like GC and FF. They work out almost the same.

Bah, I've never found them heavy or particularly cumbersome. The batteries are annoying, but you can get a charger or wired controller if it's that much of a bother. To me, all of those are nonissues.

I'd go with PS3. I find the wireless controller better and its online features fit my palette perfectly.

I bought a Xbox 360 because i found Kinect to be a much more interesting invention then ps3 move. Xbox has built in wi-fi, i can acess files from my computer. It has Fable that i love. The bateries don't take much long to charge, and no one plays 24x7 so there is no problem with charging batteries. and if you want to play and find out you forgot to live the batteries to charge, you can always play some kinect game:P I know kinect stil doesn't have much "grown up" games, but it's excelent anyway! I don't care for ps3 blu ray reader because, be honest, who buys blurays?

Plenty of people that would want to rewatch movies at their leisure, at no additional cost. PS3 also has WiFi, and can transfer files with a computer via a file-sharing session, a USB, or anything else that can connect with the system.
