"Actually, it's more of a low-pitched, wheezing kind of short mumble. Like, do tapirs make any noises? It's a tapir sneeze."

At least, they’re usually available when all other voyager and leader figures are gone. Maybe kids don’t really want the crayon colored monster bots that only turn into construction vehicles. Hey, fine by me. Devastator, once a grossly optimistic prospect, isn’t that far away now.
And fun fact, Target’s systems classify Overload as a voyager. He’s only thirty bucks there.

It’s a good looking jet mode though. Hopefully they’ll use the mold again.

I have no idea what the deal is with Hasbro and the shoddiness of their stock photos in comparison to TakaraTomy's; even if the actual toy looks better IRL, I'm already turned off by the bad lighting and the mistransformed details tbh
Although maybe Maverick's figure actually looks as weirdly colored as it does in the promo pics, I dunno

Can we just leave it at that Hasbro's stock photos suck?

Absolutely; whoever's in charge of their photography deserves to get the boot

I think the issue is that they hire photographers who don't know anything about the figures. They need to hire better photographers.

I'm assuming the photographers are the ones who transform the figures, too? Because that would explain the sheer number of mistransformed details on so many of them

I just hope they actually do more than just Chromedome, Hardhead, Brainstorm, and Mindwipe. Hope they give us Highbrow, Weirdwolf, and Skullcruncher too.
(Also wonder how many casuals will see them on the shelves with their retro-styled packaging and think they're reissues of the original G1 Headmasters?)
