I'm going to make a genre called Tungsten.

All the songs will be played tuned down 6 octaves.

We were both wrong. Yngwie Malmsteen is the densest.

How much money do you think it would take to get Yngwie Malmsteen and Dave Mustaine to collaborate on a supergroup?

I'd consider this to be my personal Manhattan project.

Things to consider
1. Dave is an ass
2. Dave is a turncoat
3. Dave is selfish

You know what they say.

There is the right way, the wrong way, and then there's the Yngwie.

All accounted for.

If I wanted someone who's ego wouldn't make the project impossible I would have picked any other rock guitar player I can imagine before Mustaine (or Malmsteen).

The goal is to stuff the two biggest egomaniacal guitar players I can imagine in one room and wait for the ultimate force in the universe to be unleashed. Whether this is a musical force or just an explosion on a scale that my mind is incapable of comprehending is irrelevant. The force will be unleashed.

Which is also among the album titles they will both agree is 'good' in private, but both insist sounds stupid when the other guy suggests it.

I thought YM was getting better with his attitude?
If I was a talented enough musician I would not work with Dave. Especially after he went from Peace Sells leftist to Reganist

I live in the country in the state that grunge originated from. I'm so ****ing metal!

Also, what's this nonsense about living in Texas and never shooting off a gun before? Even I'VE shot off a gun before and I'm freaking Corrian.

Though to be fair it was my grandpas idea, not mine. But I did decide "Ah what the hell?"

Cosumar wrote:Corrian, which Sigh albums did you add? Their sound varies a lot from album to album. For example, I love Scenario IV, Imaginary Sonicscape and In Somniphobia, but I can barely tolerate Hangman's Hymn.

The ones you suggested to me.

Nowadays maybe, yeah. I doubt that was the case back in the day.

Though I personally think grunge is a silly genre and don't get its relevance whatsoever other than "Hurr durr Seattle bands from the 90's"

As a proud "originated from Seattle" person, I declare coffee with grunge and indie to be liquid black gold. Especially when in Wallingford looking at the space needle going ca-blooey on new years. I miss all the rain, clouds, ceder, pine, spruce, and fir... So bleak out here in Whitman County...
I'll be back though.
