I'm heading off to a concert pretty soon here, and I want to try to get front row, and also have lots of fun and enjoy the music, so, besides the obvious stuff like not wearing the shirt of the band you're seeing or wearing a good pair of shoes or boots (not my first metal concert, but it's going to be my first time actually be on the floor (ended up with a side seat on an elevated section). So any particular experiences you'd like to share, any tips, any things to try, any of that kind of stuff would be nice to hear.
Basically, just don't be an asshole and you'll be fine.
And take earplugs. I made the mistake of spending an entire Carcass/Gorguts show in the first row with no plugs...my ears were ringing for 76 hours.
As a side note, that shirt rule is pretty much a myth in my experience. When I saw Death, at least half of the audience, including myself, was wearing a Death shirt.
Did you see Death or DTA?
