St. Anger had a few good ones, imo. The title track and "Frantic" are pretty good. The rest of the album *sigh*...why James? Why?

If you're getting "too old for Death Metal", then you never truly enjoyed the music.

Yeah, my friend's pretty deep into the Grind scene around here, so whenever I go to his shows, I end up meeting some people from some pretty big DM acts or people associated with them. I think he's played with Devourment three times.

Immoren: oddly the older i get the more I like death metal.

Oh and on Bolt Thrower, surely every internet geek has heard of them if only because of the warhammer link.

That's different, Blues Clues is made specifically for the education of small children. Once you learn your ABCs there's nothing to be gained from it.
Metal is not made for any specific demographic. You can't "grow out" of a genre. Your tastes can change, but you can't say people become too old to enjoy death metal after a certain age.

Fantastic! This is a great idea. Well, I suppose that the wide range of industrial applications of gold (for instance its use as foils for electronics) merits mention, and of course metallurgy is an ever-evolving field so we are always developing new bonding and extraction methods...you're not talking about that kind of metal, are you? :meh:

Well...I suppose the music is nice too. I enjoy listening to the guitar work, and I've come across some very intriguing lyrics. I admit I'm not as well-versed in the genre as most here are, but at the very least I can offer enjoying Avenged Sevenfold as some common ground. :)

Blackened death and black metal (in some vague and loose order of favoriteness): Dissection, Naglfar, Kult ov Azazel, Summoning, Emperor, Aghazanth, Darkspace, Nightbringer, Thulcandra, Mustan Kuun Lapset, Sacramentum, Peste Noire, Wolfchant, Coldworld, Immortal, Dimmu Borgir, Leviathan

I probably forgot many good bands I listen to.

Honorable mention: Slayer
