I'm moving through the German tech tree and almost have the entire tier V set minus light tanks. So far, I have more success with the SPG's and tank destroyers than the regular tanks, likely because I don't try to play as aggressively with them. Yesterday was a tough one for the PzkIII/IV, took close to ten losses before finally getting a win and the bonus xp for the day.

Hopefully I can get back on time and I can rock around with my E-50 or Panther II when you're in your Ferdinand.

I'd still prefer the Elefant over the Ferdinand (and the Alkett Jagdpanzer IV rather than the Vomag Jagdpanzer IV) but I suspect it's a forlorn hope.

Yeah, I too'd prefer the Elefant over the Ferdinand (although differences only number MG and new gear system), but I quite like Guderian's duck.

The Alkett's main difference was that it was a casement fitted onto a standard Panzer IV hull, so it was taller and more awkward, with armour that was worse sloped.

I just prefer the look of it.

Christ, I just had my most adrenaline pumping match of WoT ever!

Was in the Wolverine on that map where you start in opposite corners to each other with a village/town in the middle, decided to stay at our base because I usually ended up dying quite quickly on that map....this match had a few heavies and Type 59s running around. Got to the point where it was four of us left on my team vs the six plus on the other team, so we stayed at our base focusing our fire on one target at a time. I accounted for an M6 and a couple of Type 59s (including a one-on-one with a Type 59), though very quickly it ended up with me and one other guy left vs a SU-85. Other guy gets killed as we charge off to cap the enemy base, thus que a frantic minute or so of me driving around firing off shots on auto-aim.

EDIT: All my crew on the Wolverine is now 100%, went for camo skills for their training.....wise choice?

I always go for camo, but then that’s my play style. I tend to lurk behind bushes and the like, no matter what I’m in.

But that sounds like a hardcore game

One of my favourite ones was when I was in my DB on Prokhorovka. It’d been whittled down to just me and an enemy SY-85/100 (I can’t remember which), who was sitting in my base. I bombed it back down the other end and when I was in range I fired off a round, completely blind.

I hit him, somehow, causing him to scurry for cover and leave the circle and then I shot him

So, For Test 3, what should I work on? I've done US, RU and GE artillery, RU heavy and medium tanks, GE heavy tanks, and American TDs.
