I'm more of a Vivaldi and Mozart sort of guy. Concertos, Operas, and Sonatas for me.

Scott Joplin FTW, though, and he's from your designated timeframe.

I like Joplin, too. Ragtime is one of my favorite genres. The Chrysanthemum and Maple Leaf rags are two of my "most played" pieces.

"The Cascades" is in regular rotation here when I'm in the mood for piano music.

Interesting fact, the rise of popular electronic music can be traced to a few musicians who, for the most part, had roots in rock music.

I usually listen to Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Religion, Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode. That's not the shameful thing.

The shameful thing is that where as I very much enjoy listening to them, I, just as much as I like them, like Rihanna. I don't even like her style of music, but I like her music - and I don't know why.
Call me 'Octa'

M. Night Shyamalan is actually a walrus! O_o

METAL GEAR OTAKU / DARK HORSE FANBOY / CONSPIRACY THEORIST / VIRTUOSO / SHROOM ENTHUSIAST

Your mother is a female. Fact. Bitch.

Making little to no sense since 1999

Emphasizing it that much just makes you look closeted, no offense.

Anyways, I kinda like iwrestledabearonce, also I think that Hot n Cold by Katy Perry has a really good melody.

Hell no, it is just that men who listen to Elton John or Abba are stereotypically perceived to be at least feminine, if not, gay. But I also like Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, AC/DC which you could say cancels out the other music I listen to. But hey, at least it isn't as bad as man listening to say Bieber or Lady Gaga or Kesha.

I'm a heterosexual man who watches My Little Pony and listens to Santa Esmeralda.

we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

I know loooaaaaads of straight guys who listen to Coldplay, they're pretty mainstream.

Then again maybe they only listen because lots of girls do. Heh.

Still not found a cheery metal album, I see.
