I hate coldplay.

I think Bob Dylan has a pretty terrible voice and I can't stand most of his music.
we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

Still good music, imo, but not metal. Popcore; hardcore breakdowns with pop-punk choruses.

Listen to Black Flag, The Germs, or Minor Threat and tell me how many breakdowns you hear.

Breakdowns started essentially as half-time sections, listen to Cro-Mags to get an idea of the Hardcore Punk style of breakdown.

If anything, you should be ashamed that you consider these things shameful.

Maybe he has a compulsive vomiting disorder in which he vomits whenever he hears music?

I think there have been some Christian bands that show genuine artistic merit and manage to not sound like a knockoff of what was popular in the mainstream 5 years before their time.
The Empire of Pretantia wrote:[...] TLDR; welcome to the internet. Bicker or GTFO.
"Why is self-control, autonomy, such a threat to authority? Because the person who controls himself, who is his own master, has no need for an authority to be his master. This, then, renders authority unemployed. What is he to do if he cannot control others? To be sure, he could mind his own business. But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas Szasz

My views on that are the same as my views on Christian metal in general: make it about some seriously hardcore Old Testament shit or don't make it.

Don't know if this is why you hate them, but actually aren't a Christian rock band (which I do hate), they just got labeled that way because of the band name and the song higher. Though I do hate Nickelback and others that sound like them.

Me too. I think they truly have more artistic merit than the crowd of bands they get associated with. Their last album Sci Fi Crimes was a departure from their previous sound, and very very good.
