"Why is self-control, autonomy, such a threat to authority? Because the person who controls himself, who is his own master, has no need for an authority to be his master. This, then, renders authority unemployed. What is he to do if he cannot control others? To be sure, he could mind his own business. But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas SzaszThe Empire of Pretantia wrote:[...] TLDR; welcome to the internet. I have never in my life heard the song "Bohemian Rhapsody"
I hate Queen
I hate Metallica
I didn't know who Freddie Mercury was until a week ago
I pretty much hate American music as a rule, it just is not that great...
I LOVE German rap music, but can't stand rap in any other language
When I turn on MTV or VH1 I, 99% of the time, have no idea who the artist is that is performing nor have I ever heard the song that is playing
I would rather die than listen to the Beatles
Bushido is my favorite rapper
I like Tokio Hotel
I think Japanese pop is great-
-but that Arab pop is even better.
Yeah, those are the first things that come to mind - and what I normally get called un-American for... Not ashamed of any of them though![]()
...Well, maybe the two Glee songs, but that's it!

I have two questions:
1) Where do you live?
2) How hard is it to immigrate there?

For Me:
I enjoy Whitechapel's music. Fucking bite me.
I also like August Burns Red.
I fucking love Brutal Death Metal.
I love Poison. Talk dirty to me, bitches.
I think the Symbolic album by Death is Mediocre compared to their earlier work.
I hate the song "Raining Blood" by Slayer.
I love the album "Diabolus in Musica" by Slayer.
I hate Dave Mustaine and Megadeth.
I also hate Anthrax.
I think "Bonded in Blood" by Exodus is their weakest album vocally and lyrically.
That's pretty much it. Now you guys.

The cheesy 80's stuff.
Tears for Fears (they're not cheesy, but I generalize most 80's music as such), Huey Lewis is alright, some of Men at Work's stuff, most of the 80's stuff I like are from people who's names I don't know, and they're all pretty much radio hits.
