The Empire of Pretantia wrote:[...] TLDR; welcome to the internet. Bicker or GTFO.
"Why is self-control, autonomy, such a threat to authority? Because the person who controls himself, who is his own master, has no need for an authority to be his master. This, then, renders authority unemployed. What is he to do if he cannot control others? To be sure, he could mind his own business. But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas Szasz

I kind of like Ke$ha.

I own all of the glee cd's.

I deleted 'Hello' (Evanescence) off of my Ipod.

I have more soundtracks from movies then actual music.
...Including soundtrack from Buffy.

I refuse to listen to Katy Perry's E.T. because I want the play count to sit at 69. Because I am a mature person.

Judge away...

Things I am ashamed to admit:
I enjoy listening to Blink-182
I sort of like Hilltop Hoods
I have seen Wolfmother live

Things people tell me I should be ashamed of:
I hate Queen

There's probably more but I can't think of any atm.

I pretty much hate American music as a rule, it just is not that great...
I LOVE German rap music, but can't stand rap in any other language
When I turn on MTV or VH1 I, 99% of the time, have no idea who the artist is that is performing nor have I ever heard the song that is playing
I would rather die than listen to the Beatles
Bushido is my favorite rapper
I like Tokio Hotel
I think Japanese pop is great-

Yeah, those are the first things that come to mind - and what I normally get called un-American for... Not ashamed of any of them though :D

...Well, maybe the two Glee songs, but that's it! :lol2:

I'm not a mainstream listener on music. In other words, I listen to mostly stuff not made by Vevo or big artists.

But some of them, I'll listen to. Some of it truly makes me thinking and could even shape my character.....
Now mostly a politik discuss account.

The cheesy 80's stuff.

Tears for Fears (they're not cheesy, but I generalize most 80's music as such), Huey Lewis is alright, some of Men at Work's stuff, most of the 80's stuff I like are from people who's names I don't know, and they're all pretty much radio hits.

I'm a sucker for "Forever Young" and "Life in a Northern Town" myself.

I like the Talking Heads, but I'm not ashamed.

The power of love is probably the epitome of 80's cheesiness in my opinion. Nothing else quite lays it on like that, that I've heard.

I had a math teacher that was a big fan of Men at Work.

Not to mention their terrible vocalist.
