Things about music you are ashamed to admit.

Postby Demen 2 » Fri Jul 15, 2011 10:47 am

That's right, basically a deepest and darkest decrets thread.

For Me:

I enjoy Whitechapel's music. Fucking bite me.

I also like August Burns Red.

I fucking love Brutal Death Metal.

I love Poison. Talk dirty to me, bitches.

I think the Symbolic album by Death is Mediocre compared to their earlier work.

I hate the song "Raining Blood" by Slayer.

I love the album "Diabolus in Musica" by Slayer.

I hate Dave Mustaine and Megadeth.

I also hate Anthrax.

I think "Bonded in Blood" by Exodus is their weakest album vocally and lyrically.

That's pretty much it. Now you guys.

Started learning guitar for girls.

Yeah.
we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

But as for me...
I like what I like, and I dislike what I dislike. I'm not ashamed of any of my musical preferences.
But I have never really been able to get into black metal, which I do somewhat regret.

You shouldn't be ashamed to admit that. I think Whitechapel and August Burns Red are good - I don't need to hide it.

Ashamed?

I enjoy listening to Japanese pop music.

Now that you've realised all this liberal, free-love hogwash is a load of bollocks, let's do things right.

Undress, now!

You will march up to a lady naked right now and proposition her for sex, using your Enfield Rifle and male genitalia to woo the lady.

Should you fail, it's 9001 press ups followed by a drinking competition with a Russian.

Well, according to everyone I talk to, I SHOULD be ashamed of the fact that:

I have never in my life heard the song "Bohemian Rhapsody"
I hate Queen
I hate Metallica
I didn't know who Freddie Mercury was until a week ago
I pretty much hate American music as a rule, it just is not that great...
I LOVE German rap music, but can't stand rap in any other language
When I turn on MTV or VH1 I, 99% of the time, have no idea who the artist is that is performing nor have I ever heard the song that is playing
I have two Glee songs in my iPod
I would rather die than listen to the Beatles
Bushido is my favorite rapper
I like Tokio Hotel
I think Japanese pop is great-
-but that Arab pop is even better.

Yeah, those are the first things that come to mind - and what I normally get called un-American for... Not ashamed of any of them though :D

...Well, maybe the two Glee songs, but that's it! :lol2:

You mean to re-*lose* his normality, right?

Anyways, I greatly enjoy every one of these songs, which are all potentially embarrassing in the musical circles I frequent, plus Lady Gaga.

The seductive powers of a well groomed rifle are unmatched, by George.

I feel like I've done 9001 press ups this month already.

And being a Scot, I could drink any Ruski potato farmer under the table.
