While it's sad that the series is over with, in some ways it may have been a godsend for the fandom. I dunno how active any of you guys were in the fandom around 2006-2007, but my gods, the fandom wank was the stuff of legend (and this is coming from a veteran of the Gundam Wing fandom's somewhat notorious yaoi/anti-yaoi flamewars.) With the series long since over and the fandom having shed casual members, the amount of drama has dropped significantly- the fandom just isn't large enough anymore to support the kind of behavior that was rampant during the show's peak.

But then, DP fandom was a tad unique in that the series creator stated and tried to enforce a clear opinion on fanwork ("slash is icky, sex is icky, my characters must remain pure!") that he tried to police beyond the boundaries of his own forum. That was about as successful as predicted- IE: not at all. It just fanned the flames of the normal slash/anti-slash divide you get in most fandoms and enabled it to get completely blown out of proportion.

I still wish it had continued.

I'd like to see Danny Phantom done in a way similar to how FMA is. More realism and such.

Hell, I'd be happy to see what season 3 would have been like if Marmel had been on it. Some of the plotlines he's hinted at would have been leaps and bounds better than... well, pretty much everything in season 3. A real conclusion to the Danny/Sam/Valerie triangle, Dan's return, the conclusion to the storyline hinted at back in Reign Storm about Vlad getting the Fright Knight to work for him...

Probably the best scene out of season 3 was in the finale when Jack and Vlad are on the spaceship and Jack ditches Vlad in space.

No actual sex, but I thought to myself that "If hate is the flip side of love, can you have an intense, passionate, 'intimate' relationship built entirely on hate'?" ... Given reader response to the 4th story in my little saga, you can.

I have always wanted to write Fanfics...I been doing a very serious and dark Avatar the last airbender fanfic for awhile now but I have not gotten the first chapter done yet. When I get time and when I finish my other fan fic I will have to do a Danny Phantom fanfic..maybe a Warhammer/Danny Phantom just to screw with everyone :lol:

I laughed my ass off. It proved that even the most bumbling of morons can still double as a badass.
