WHAT WE ARE+
#Deviant-NationStates is the most active NationStates based group on DeviantArt. Open to any nationstates user regardless of tech level, region, or type. We're always looking for more members to expand our collection of NationStates artwork, as well as build community. You can join the group to keep up on other users artwork, to gather inspiration for art of your own, or to critique what you see and help us all become better at what we do. A few of our more prominent current members include Reploid Productions, Zepplin Manufacturers, and Tocrowkia. We do not have an IRC channel of our own, but members are always welcome to join the Esper FT channel, #NSLegion.HOW TO JOIN+
Click the groupID image in the top right of this post, or follow this link. At the top of the post should be a great big "Contribute" banner! In the banner should be a few options. The one you want is "Join our group!" Click that, and a little window should pop up with a few options. First off, you need to decide whether you want to be a "Member" or a "Contributer". While you can always change this later, it's best to figure out what you want out of the group from the get-go.· Member+ A Member is someone who wants to see all the neat artwork that gets submitted to the DA group, but doesn't particularly want to submit much (or any) art of their own. Members only require 3 votes from contributors to be accepted into the group. Members can submit artwork to any folder except for "Featured" at the rate of 5 submissions per week. Anything that a member chooses to submit needs to gather 5 votes from contributers to be accepted into the folder.
· Contributer+ A Contributer is someone who wants to submit art to the group on a regular basis. Contributers require 5 votes from other contributers to be accepted into the group. Once a user is accepted as a contributer, they can submit to any folder except "Featured" with no votes required, with no limit on how many submissions they can make in a time period. In addition, contributers can submit artwork to the "Featured" category to be voted upon by their fellow contributers. If their submission gets 5 votes, it is placed in the "Featured" folder.
Finally, and this is important, IN THE NOTES SECTION, PUT THE NAME OF YOUR NATIONSTATES NATION. If you don't do this, we can't be sure that you're a nationstates member! Once you submit this, it pops up to all the current contributors, who vote on it. Assuming you've done all this properly, we'll vote you in! Hooray!

Then you can decide if you want to be a contributer or if you just want to be a member and see stuff other people make.
