Twilight. What I have in mind is taking out the sword, removing the green circle, replacing it with her mane colour and cutie mark, changing the blue to a nice purple and changing the red snakes to lavender for a touch of irony, while leaving the yellow alone.

An eyesore? Maybe, but that's how I like my flags.

Admittedly, it's easy to feel lost in a thread with almost 300 unique users.

Not a chance (Plenty of 'Pure' ponyforums around, after all, plus IRC channels et al). Though some specialist forums have done so. I just can't see NS doing the same.

I imagine the traffic will have to self-regulate - as posting frequency increases, users interested in more serious discussion leave, which reduces posting frequency, which improves discussion quality, which leads to users returning.

Or something. If nothing else, offsite means of discussion shall serve. They already do just that, anyway.

(Not that an NS pony subforum wouldn't be hilarious, mind)

This here thread moves way too fast, with the 'Socialising' part effectively killing off more in-depth discussion. Not completely (Which is impressive), but comparing the thread now to the thread over the first twenty pages shows... Very substantial differences.

Ideally, there'd be threads for

• Art
• Srsbsns (Episodes, Season Two and such)
• Lighter Discussion (Fav. Pony, pony-related humour, and what amounts to socialising with pony background noise)

Right now it's all in one thread, and it's hilariously unwieldy.

As stated, it's not that big a problem, since we can all go to offsite fora/ chats (And many of us do), but this here thread is a bit of a monstrosity right now. Fun, but... It could be handled better.
