i felt the same way at first but they combine a lot off genres i like and the leed singer troy sanders sounds better on cd

It's unlikely that a single song was the inspiration for all following pieces. Music most likely developed simultaneously in a number of places at the same time, without the influence of the one that was chronologically "first".
