Thus far it's only in the context of treaty ports, but probably yeah.

So I tried out Haesteinn. Immediately declared for the Duchy of Britanny, then took Leon. After that I landed in cornwall, raided the Anglo-Saxons for a bit, then declared for the Duchy of Wessex, got 100% warscore after I won the siege of the capital and took an important important hostage apperantly, usurped the title of Duke of Wessex, then went on to form the Kingdom of Britanny.

I think I get why people like Haesteinn that much.

I do really poorly with remembering all those character faces in CK3, especially given that they age and change with time, which is quite the bad thing in a game as character-centric and immersive as CK3.

Hopefully this whole court interaction thing will help me out with my poor memory. :)

I already liked how much more immersed in CK3 I felt with my court compared to CK2 (I actually remember vassals and council members now instead of them just sorta existing in the background until half of them gang up on me with an inconveniently timed rebellion)

This looks like it'll hopefully take that up a notch.

I'm mostly the same. I don't remember the faces or names of most characters in my games (except like the rulers I play as because I have to stare at their faces for pretty much the entire game, plus the occasional notable vassal/court member/council member).

I do remember their job titles and whatever dumb/funny/incredible shit they did for me to take note of them (like use the power of incest and adultery to collapse one of my most important alliances). Maybe this will mean I either remember them by face too or remember them by more dumb shit.

I'll be honest the only characters whose names and faces I remember are those who really really piss me off. Like, leading a realm-wide revolt against me for liberty war that goes on for years and then ends in a white peace piss me off. And even then only so I can extinguish their line completely.

So due to way culture and innovations interact, might it be intendent way to play that if your realm includes more advanced culture than one you currently belong, you're "meant" to switch to that culture, instead of clinging to "backwards" culture of your ancestors. Am I slow and figuring out the obvious, or something as silly.
