They were paid to do it. That’s why they’re nothing more than thugs for hire. If they aren’t above intimidating and beating up people, then what respect do they deserve?

Stealth is OP as shit. I even tried gimping myself by playing as an orc or Nord in heavy armor but the stealth enchantments and skill tree makes you a freaking ghost.

Ive not made stealth a priority, ive only put 4 skill points into it and its currently at 60, but it coupled with being a vampire makes me practically invisible to most people the second i start crouching, even in some well lit areas. Its hilarious.

If you dump your skills in stealth/alchemy and do an assassin build it gets so easy it's boring. Brb, OHKOing dragons because I drank an OP damage potion, had a sneak attack, 15x stealth damage buff, and gauntlets with backstab. And this is without exploiting the alchemy/enchant/smith loophole.

NGL I couldn’t give a damn if we have to sacrifice Aela leaving the Companions or dying if it meant getting the Companions back to its former glory (by bringing the Silver Hand into the fold). If she wants to die as a dog she can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not hate her, just don’t care about her. She’s bland as a character in my opinion and is a werewolf, so I’ve no qualms with her no longer being around.

Monster Hunters. That's exactly what the Companions should have been. Non-magical Elder Scrolls Witchers. Not glorified mercenaries. The Fighters Guild did the mercenary stuff and was three times as heroic as the Companions. Honestly, the Fighters Guild was my favorite questline from Oblivion.

She's fucking obnoxious. Won't shut up about hunting and shit. That gets old. Plus, she's a Daedra worshiper. Fuck that nonsense.

The only reason people like her is because of her skimpy outfit.

Well unless the Empire can guarantee puppet High Kings after Elisif dies there is no reason for them to allow any further ones. After Ulfric killed Torygg Skyrim lost its High King privileges the Jarls are now the highest authority below the Empire.

What?

Where is this coming from? There is zero mention of abolishing the position of High King by anyone. Skyrim isn't Cyrodiil - it's an autonomous province with it's own ruler that also serves as representative of the Emperor. Having the Emperor directly rule Skyrim would cause too many problems; when the Jarls have disputes, they need to go to the High King. Skyrim's problems aren't necessarily the Empire's problems and therefor not the Emperor's concerns. That's why the subdivisions exist. Problems in the Hold go to the Jarl, problems in the Province go to the High King, problems in the Empire go to the Emperor. It's a simple system that has proven effective enough. Torygg's murder was an extreme, isolated incident. Something like that isn't common and there is nothing to suggest it will be anytime soon.

There is no mention of abolishing the Moot. Not by the Stormcloaks, not by the Empire. It's not a thing. If the title of High King/Queen can survive the whole Potema debacle, it can survive a comparatively minor blip-on-the-radar like the Stormcloak Rebellion. Besides that, there is nothing to suggest Elisif will become the High Queen anyway. Yes, she's most likely to be, but that doesn't mean she will be.

I'd personally pick Balgruuf first and foremost, with Brunwulf as a close second.

I was giving my opinion that the empire should abolish the High King not saying that they wanted to. Last thing you want is another Ulfric after Elisif dies.
