Does the Internet still exist in the 40k universe?

The opening of Space Marine looks like it's on the 40k "internet". However, as some others have said, most people wouldn't have access to it, or even know of it. In the opening of Space Marine that is the only time it is used and it is used by the AdMec, for the AdMec. Maybe the big boys have internet, but I highly doubt that the average citizen, or even guard has access to it. It is probably just for the planetary governors, the administratum, the inquisition, the Ecclesiarchy, and maybe the Astartes if it even exists at all. And if it does exist, it is only for official business matters of high importance.

I am sure that on the more developed worlds there will be examples of local/planet wide data networks of various types and degrees of interoperability. As to anything over a wider scale, well I'm sure we can all see the difficulties in that...

Tactical/strategic data networks seem to be pretty much standard amoungst the gaurd and a lot of day to day admin stuff you see does seem to be done on data slates/pads rather than paper and scrolls which seem to be reserved for only to most important ceremonial usages.

The II primarchs name is about as long as Alpharius, XI's name is about as long as Magnus the red. Some sort of genetic failure occurred, because Guilliman lists them as failures, and the other Nine as traitors. One of them encountered a Necron monument at some point.

Also, at least one got NOM'd by the Space Corgis.

We also know that at least one of them was involved in a brutal war against a Xenos that at the same time really mauled the Dark Angels Talk about tough. and that one of the missing primarchs was completely humourless. Sanguinius was deeply worried about the Black Rage and the Red Thirst in part because of the fate of one of them.

As for speculations as to what else... we had that a few pages ago.

It's hard to tell. Exactly what they are but I suspect they are more like ruggedised military data terminals with a display more like a pip boy than a modern tablet but again it probably varies a lot between worlds and ranks.
