No real reason why other races shouldn't mate with Asarians, except if they had Ardat-Yakshi genes and would either kill their mate or turn them in a vegetable.

The reason they shouldn't mate with the Asari is that it would destroy their own species. Asari children are not "mixed species", they are pure Asari.

I'm sure there's still tens of billions of fornicating Turian, Salarian, and Human couples.

Most Krogans couldn't have kids anyways. Bonding with an Asari is not only one of the few ways they can have kids, but there's no angst about one partner dying long before the other because of age.

While bugs and mishaps are expected with the Alpha release, I've been quite impressed with it thus far. The visuals, sounds, and immersive animations are definitely a plus from me (though I'm hoping they tweak some of the shading, since I'm not a fan of it). Gameplay wise for the Alpha, there are a few gripes notably along the keymapping, and some of the controls need refinement, but it's not unplayable. Class selection isn't entirely robust as of yet -- you get a few basic rifle outfits, flag-bearer, NCO, and officers to choose from. (Flag-bearer will be a mobile respawn point later in the game, but as of right now, they don't do much besides look pretty).

The game also features localised voice communication, something reminiscent of Squad or Arma 3 with the TaskForce plugin. This means that once you've travelled a certain distance from a player speaking, you can no longer hear them. Add this to the gunfire, bombs, and other noise, and the battlefield can be pretty chaotic and fun. We had some 40 people on a server yesterday, and had formed a double-rank doing rolling volleys which produced blinding masses of smoke that'd slowly float across the battlefield. At one point we were charged, and it's a rush of adrenaline when you see enemy troops come flying through your cloud of smoke with bayonets primed.

Melee skirmishes need some work, but there's a bit of primal satisfaction when you club two guys to death with the back of your rifle in the heat of the fight. Transition between melee and range does need some work, notably a quicker response time, but again, it doesn't make it unplayable. Overall, I've had a lot of fun, it's quite addicting. As with anything, I suggest looking up gameplay videos on YouTube before buying just so you're aware of what you're getting into.

I saw a bunch of ads for it on Facebook and thought it was one of those shitty fake iPhone games, but it looks pretty good from the actual gameplay footage. Kinda reminds me of Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars.

The Russian Scout in the upcoming dlc for battlefield one is going to be a woman, and some people are quite divided about it, i frankly could not give a fuck, just looking forward to the eastern front making an appearance.

Also got the french dlc yesterday and had a bash at it, have not got any of the new weapons, tanks or anything yet. Just trying to relearn the game after not playing it for a good few months, and did better than i thought i would.I also like the new maps so far.

Yeah it annoyed the fuck out of me that they were not the main game.

Something like Italy or the Americans, or Serbia would have been perfect for a DLC army to bring in, the french should have been in the base game.

Also i wish the dlc's had extra single player campaign missions, i really enjoyed the ones they had in the game.
