My Japanese friend and I agree that people should not use those words in English, and should otherwise replace them with perfectly acceptable English words. We both feel that it is degrading to his Culture, just as the leprechaun and the green beer is degrading to my own. We also both agree that this whole 'put on animal ears' fad is simply ridiculous.

I guess you are right, then, I suppose, this is a manifestation of American retardation.
In addition, he's hectoring Nanatsu about her choice to drop the occasional Japanese phrase and simply will not let it rest. She's taking care of herself, as you'd expect, but Godly doesn't seem to understand how unreasonable and deliberately fractious he's being. Or am I overreacting?
