Less an NS Sport than Quidditch? It's a tournament where charachters from different Nations try to become the NS Pokemon Champion. It involves traveling around NationStates to catch different types of Pokemon which can then be used in battles. It's more an NS Sport than 90% of other sports in NS Sports.

Plenty of sports have sign-up threads, OOC threads, team information threads and RP threads.

This is a cool idea, and you've clearly put some time and effort into the presentation, but it's not the right fit for NS Sport.

A smaller pokemon battle tournament could work in NS Sport if you were to find a way to scorinate it and you were open to chopping and changing the format until it became something that balanced the mechanics of NS Sport and the mechanics of Pokemon battles.

As it stands, your idea seems to be focused on hunting, catching and training pokemon, with the battle tournaments as a smaller part of the whole experience. As far as I understand it, running around and catching Pokemon isn't even a sport in the pokemon universe. In its current guise the only similarity to an NS Sport thread is that, with four (four!) separate threads it imitates the style of some of the longer-running NS Sport competitions.

Start small. Hang around NS Sport and see how other sports are done. Ask questions in the NS Sports RP Questions thread.

Links? I've seen a few examples attached to the end of posts about the NPO but those didn't really raise my hackles.
