If the situation were reversed, you moral cowards would call it the suppression of free speech or a brave stand against liberal academia. But when the UTLA suggests that the bombs used to murder children in the thousands should be stopped, that discussions of Israel's long history of genocide and oppression against both Palestinians and Jews is not anti-semitic and should be opposed, and that the lives, education, and liberties of Palestinian Children matter just as much as those of Israeli children - you all cry culture war and call for bans and arrests. The Jews did not suffer hundreds of years of pogroms and genocides to become weapons of your dictatorships - real or advocated for.

For shame.

I'm sorta soft-asking for an appeal, but I more just want clarification. How is calling someone a "moral coward" flaming?

Out of context, coward is not even a real insult in most contexts. Like if LM accused me of being "dishonest." And in context, it's a call to action. Yes, it was evocative. But it was evocative in the context of multiple posters blanket accusing kindergarten teachers of being groomers by spreading misinformation. This was done, knowingly or not, by spreading at best bad information and at worst misinformation. Ultimately, I was calling the multiple posters calling for things like mass arrests hypocrites and encouraging them to either reevaluate defend their position or come back with better information.

Surely, if something as provocative as accusing thousands of unionized workers something as provocative as groomers through a bad source is not flaming or trolling or bait - then my simple call to action to reevaluate one's moral system isn't.

Given your stated intentions, it seems to me that your expectation is that someone should read your post, ignore your mudslinging, and engage with you substantively on topic. But your post does not do this, itself.

The goal of discourse when it comes to discussions on NationStates is that you should engage with someone's position. Attack the argument, attack the strategy, attack the positions that are being argued for. But when you depart that substantive discourse and start directing those attacks, baits, and trolls at other players in a personal manner, it becomes actionable. It doesn't advance any argument or bring about any understanding, it just degrades the discourse. Whether it's not as bad as some other hypothetical mudslinging is totally irrelevant.

Ultimately, if you had said you want those people to re-evaluate their arguments and come back with better information, it wouldn't have been actionable.
