Is "debate" what we're calling feeding trolls that say the Nazis did good things? I had thought that was frowned upon.

The problem is that debating a Nazi, even with substantial evidence to back your claim up, will do nothing to change their hateful mindset. While I painstakingly agree that the comment in question isn’t banworthy as it’s not a direct call for violence, it still feels like an unnecessary burden for the majority of us, who haven’t done anything wrong, to have to debate these extremists. I doubt that anyone on NS forums changes their mind.

Please do not post in report threads (threads tagged with [R], [REPORT], etc) unless you are the person reported, or bringing new ***and relevant*** information to the table.

Considering that just a few days ago a couple of mods warned that "endorsing Nazi Germany and its atrocities is likely to be considered trolling" and that "there was a prohibition on outright Nazi content," I'm not sure what point there is to not bringing out the scary text on someone saying the Nazis were good, actually. But whatever.

That was about a Factbook and not a forum post.

The prohibition quoted was on Gameside, not on the forums.

In my view, the spirit of the distinction is pretty clearly covered here.

Furthermore, saying that Ye's recent rambling on Hitler having value is an explicit endorsement of all things Nazi to the level that is being described in the mentioned rulings is a long stretch.
