And there are a lot more other examples, albeit lost to time. I get it, we have had bad blood and I won't deny that. However, the basic courtesy in a F7 / AN game out of all places is to really ignore me instead of doing this sniping, or whatever you can call it.

This is getting out of hand, and feels like an abuse of Foe Listing. I also believe that you cannot feign ignorance when you can see: "This post was made by Valentine Z who is currently on your ignore list. Display this post." if you block me. If you foe'd me, that's fine, and I'll avoid and wait until the next person posts. Least you can do is return the courtesy. You avoid me, I avoid you, not one of two.

I'm sorry if this is deemed unactionable. However, given the nature of F7 and its reliance on above-nation games, AND the fact that it has happened before, I'm particularly vexed.

You're a very prolific F7 poster (2584 posts); Nevertopia too but not quite as much (867). It's to be expected that there'll be overlap in AN games. After taking a cursory look at the search results for Nevertopia's F7 posts, it still doesn't appear to me to be a specific pattern, and that your three examples are as many months apart reinforces that.

This doesn't look like Nevertopia is deliberately going into threads to skip over you, but rather that they skip when you happen to be AN. I can see how that feels annoying, but at the same time it's consistent with the foe feature of the forum (which exists for good reasons). Excluding foes from AN games specifically is a conversation that could be had but right now, it's working "as designed".

With all due respect, this is not the first time that this has happened and for most of the time that they came to F7 to post, they skipped over me. If they really wanted to post, the least they could do is wait.

As of right now, I know I'll wait until someone else posted for them so that they don't get skipped, so I don't understand why I'll have to deal with this just because they posted less often than me.

The thing to look for is this: are my posts and their posts next to each other? If we coincided, are they skipping me deliberately? Majority of the time. It's no longer something passable as coincidence to me.

Any other place, I would have been fine, but on F7 out of all places where it all depends on playing the rules of posting for the player above? I don't think so.

That was poor wording on my part, I apologize. However, I really strongly feel that it shouldn't discredit the issue I'm trying to bring up, i.e. the fact that it happened and was brought up last time to no avail.

When two people have each other on ignore, and clearly have a history of not getting on, then I would say that not engaging with the other player's posts is the exact opposite of harassment. If Nevertopia is posting in a F7 thread that you're also posting in, it is good for them not to be engaging with you.

My second opinion is the same as the view I gave you last time you tried to get Nevertopia in trouble. Try actually ignoring them. If anything, your reports are closer to harassment than their behaviour, though not - currently - warranting further Moderator action than this.

What I am saying is that if they are not going to engage, do it completely instead of with knowledge that they will skip me. I'm sure they CAN see that I was there, just wait a bit instead of deliberately skipping me.

Of course, with all due respect, you threatening me is to be expected. I am not trying to rules-lawyer here, but I don't feel comfortable with the notion that you are threatening to warn me over the honest report that I'm trying to make, just because of some misguided thought that I'm trying to get him into trouble. Yes, it's the same person and no, I am not looking at every single post they made under the sun; I was reporting because I got affected.

I am telling you to move on and properly ignore Nevertopia, because at the moment you are not. Some people just cannot get on, and if you continue to only half ignore them, you will continue to get annoyed by them. Yes, if you develop a pattern of repeatedly reporting someone you claim to be ignoring, for non-actionable behaviour, then it could cross into mods as a weapon; I am telling you that so that doesn't have to happen.

You can't have your cake and eat it. If this report is exactly the same report as last time, then you're just asking for a third (and fourth) opinion on a report that's already been ruled on, backed up, and closed. Otherwise, it's a new report and any mod can provide a first and second opinion on it.

All right, I am just trying to talk this through to the best of my ability.

For utmost, 100% clarity sake, I am ignoring him. I don't read whatever he posted, he's still in Foe List, I am not targeting him - nothing from my side. I am very okay with that, and I respect my decision and your suggestion to NOT harass him. I am very clear on this, and I am, once again, completely respectful of this. I have properly ignored him, I see him as latest poster in a F7 thread, I move on and posted elsewhere.

On the other hand, if he posted and I got deliberately skipped more than once, then surely I have to do talk to you all about it. I am NOT trying to mods-as-weapon the guy, nor am I chasing after everything he posted under the sun. I would honestly feel bad IF he gets warned. I just really, really want you all to understand that this is a pattern and not me trying to harass the guy, nor was it an one-off thing.

However, I digress. If this is going to be the opinion, so be it. I unfortunately cannot do anything about it.
