Recently, I was warned for trolling. However, I do not think this was right. I was warned on the fact of saying that someone is racist because of race. I did not say that this was my opinion, but rather that I did not believe in this ideology. I was only wondering, as I have seen it many times before, is if people actually believed in this. I do not understand how this is trolling, as I never stated as my opinion that all X are Y.

It’s the nuance. Discussing whether or not the cultures white people are brought up in encourages racism is one thing, outright claiming that whites are racist because they’re whites is another. I see no reason to overturn my colleague’s warning.

I did not claim that whites are racist because they're white. If you read it as that, I apologize for the misinterpretation. I was only asking prompt questions and my opinion was that whites being racist because they're white was a faulty opinion. But I understand why you might have thought that I had said otherwise, so thank you anyways.

Edit: I still feel like this was unjust. At no point did I say all whites are racist. I only wanted to know if people believed in that theory or if it was just rumoured

Personally, I do not think whites are inherently racist, because assuming one race is bad just because of their skin colour is, well, racist!

As I see it, there is no purpose in lodging a final appeal, as it takes longer to file than a warning going away. While I feel like this ruling was unjust, and if you had taken a little longer to see the post, you would see that I was AGAINST all X are Y, and considering this topic was no where to be found on banned topics, I leave it at that, and I am sorry if I wasted your time. Thank you for your effort anyways, even though I do not see it, whatsoever, as trolling.

No, you posed a trolling question as a topic with no nuance in the OP. The fact that you said you don't think so doesn't change the fact that you made it the discussion topic and it very much is inviting trolling. I might have marked it as a much less used trollbait warning, but it is warn-worthy regardless.
