viewtopic.php?f=23&t=409417...because apparently Q&A threads aren't allowed (top one has been going on since March), even if the Q&A is concerned only with in-game IC matters instead of OOC ones. Learned the hard way by getting mine locked.
I will actually be overturning these locks - plus your own, Palmyrion. There was a bit of minor confusion about this - something that is totally understandable.
The actual rule regarding Q&A threads in F&NI is slightly eclectic and based very much on the idea that said threads promote active and creative discussion, either In-Character or as an exercise in worldbuilding (as is much the case in many Q&A sections of factbooks). From the

If you're planning on making a question/answer thread, make sure it actually promotes discussion rather than simple yes or no questions. The latter will be locked. We want to encourage creativity and fun here!
In other words: these threads need actual work and attention because they can very readily simply devolve into spam. That being said, they are not, in-and-of-themselves, banned wholesale. If they
don't promote discussion and just end-up being a spammish back and forth, then yes, they will be locked; if you see threads falling into this latter style, do not hesitate to report them.
