A friend of mine who plays NS too has decided to hand over one of his nation to me, as some personal issues are bothering him. Thus, I am now in a dillema. Does it require a mod's permission to take control of someone else's nation legally? I don't really know the procedure, so I will be obliged if a mod can show me the way to legally transfer the ownership of the nation from him.

We have a section of the Rules dedicated to what is called "sharing accounts" here. Please note that once a nation is handed over from one player to another, it is for all intents and purposes a shared nation.
