Seems pretty blatant.

Poss. trolling, too. Calling behaviour that results in the deaths of 260,000 people (and then telling said people to "stop whining") "inspiring":

Welp... we are gonna be dealing with an endless stream of Brazilian variants aren't we?

If only more leaders could be like this guy. He's stuck to his principles despite everything, and I think that's really inspiring.

I would like to appeal my warning.
In what way was what I said trolling? I think everyone will agree that one of the worst things in this pandemic has been constantly shifting priorities, politicians stating that they'll do one thing only to do another or changing their approach midway. I was congratulating the consistent approach that President Bolsonaro has taken towards the pandemic: the simple act of picking a course and sticking with it rather than the actions themselves. In the UK we have had leaders who previously were going to go for herd immunity then bring in lockdown measures. In Eastern Europe there have been leaders who have urged the greatest caution only to re-open immediately. Both are worthy of criticism and indeed the approach taken by Bolsonaro can be criticised fairly and I would have no objections to such criticism. Trolling is defined as posts made with the intent of angering people. Praising a politician for consistency cannot reasonably be expected to anger people.

If you are trying to appeal, then you know that this is not how you go about it.

Sorry if I was unclear. I have edited the post to indicate that it was an appeal.

Could I have some reasoning please?

I understand the point you are trying to make based off your posts here and I was a little on the fence, but the post that was reported does not so much reflect that. Wishing all leaders were like this one while quoting a headline such as that, is trolling. Specially in the current global pandemic. Please in the future be more mindful of how you phrase your arguments.
